Housing

Students may make their own living arrangements or arrange for housing through the school. The school has available a 4 bedroom apartment above the school with all the ammenities of home, including:

- Cable TV in the living room & bedrooms
- DVD players in the living room & bedrooms
- Stove, microwave & coffee pot
- Full size refrigerator
- Outdoor gas grill
- Dishes, silverware & cookware
- All bedding provided

Housing is made available for students moving in any time the weekend prior to classes starting.

Location & Recreation

We are located in Friedens, Pennsylvania, just outside of Somerset. We are approximately 1+ hours southeast of Pittsburgh, PA, & approximately 2+ hours west of Harrisburg, PA.

Here in the Laurel Highlands, we have a wonderfully diverse range of activities. There are a lot of fishing spots very close to the school, several lakes, trout streams and reservoirs that are within 5-10 minutes. Hunting is abundant here, and there are state gamelands and other areas open to public hunting. During the winter months, there are several nearby resorts for outdoor activities, some well known local resorts include Seven Springs, Hidden Valley & Blue Knob. There is also excellent biking & hiking trails nearby, as well as 2 state forests.
